I usually shop around for the best deals on whatever site. But, recently I used Partsgeek.com. It sounds like a cheesy site, but their prices are unbeatable. Some things are not much cheaper, but other things have huge discounts. I purchased an Ansa sport exhaust for my 2k2 and it was $200. Every other site was selling it for at least $300. Also bought brake shoes, they were $21, other places were charging around $40. Just wondering if anyone else has used Partsgeek or if you have a goto parts website. I also use Summit and Pelican Parts.

my buddys at FCPEuro.com are great for a few makes, Volvo, BMW, VW stuff (and if you live in New England stuff usually comes next day with standard freight, these guys are southern CT) . Prices are great. Sometimes RockAuto.com if it is oddball (good Peugeot and Alfa selection), International Auto for Alfa stuff. Napa for oil filters and chemicals

Depends...
If you car has a niche/cult, it'll have specific websites selling parts for your car.
If it's such a run of the mill car, then you'll have to stick to genric websites.

I buy from either Latemodel Restoration, Rock Auto, or Amazon.
Amazon is the "OH SHIT GIMME NOW I NEED IT" place. Especially on things LMR is out of stock on/has a higher price. Latemodel is for mustang specific parts, and Rock Auto for smaller and more specific things like U Joints, etc; for variety of choices and great prices.

FCPEuro for my Volvo. I would use IPD if I wanted to pay an arm and a leg for lower quality parts though.

Yep, bought a bunch of things for my car and forgot to order new plugs. Amazon prime delivered the next day before the other parts even came in.

I check on Kijiji for used parts. If I need new parts, I go directly to the distributors (I got my contacts), Auto Value directly or Rockauto.com. Recently I ventured myself into ebay...

RockAuto and recently Amazon, I have actually noticed that after shipping often I can get the same part from amazon slightly cheaper. However with amazon verifying a manufacture number (to double check if its right part) is not always as easy.

Rock auto, ecs tuning, pelican parts, tischer, turner motorsports, bav auto, amazon, forums, some random guy in germany who has a barn full of 1602s. For my BMWs one of the above will usually have what i need real cheap and for my MR2 rock auto, amazon or the forums have always come through

I live about 15 minutes or so from the Summit headquarters & showroom (some days I drive right past it on my way to work, depending on which way I go in). For whatever reason, you mentioning them suddenly reminded me that I haven't been to their Super Summit car & truck show in years. I looked on their website for the date, and dammit if it isn't on the weekend I'll be out of town for vacation. Thanks, MontegoMan! THIS IS ALL YOUR DOING!
I mean, yeah....other people mentioned them too....BUT THIS IS YOUR FAULT. I initially thought of it when I saw your reply to the Jalopnik Deals post.

Mostly either Ebay UK or a BMW dealer. Stuff's either widely available enough that Ebay - being a cheap place to sell - has good prices on it, or it's impossible to find anywhere but at the dealer.

NAPA/Autozone/O'Reilly/Summit apparently don't distinguish between the regular and SVT parts, so I have to either go with Tasca Ford, a dealership in Rhode Island that sells discount SVT parts, or Central Florida Motorsports, a Ford aftermarket specialty store, just to make sure I'm actually getting the right things.

Generally speaking I try to stay OEM unless the prices are out of control (read dealership). I've found that shopping auto parts on price is usually a recipe for some cheap chinese POS knock off that wont last.

Turner, Bav auto, getbmwparts.com (tischer), but I really get the best deals from vendors on forums. Modbargains, pyspeed, and sonic tuning have all given me amazing quotes on products.
Sonic tuning for example quoted me $1400 for KW Streetcomfort coilovers for my E90, where everywhere else was asking $1600-1800.

All orders over $99 on summit have free shipping right now. I can find a code for advance in seconds, but Summit doesn't really do typical discount codes, just promos.

Home Depot. Paint problem? Rattle cans. Problem where parts should be stuck together but they're not? Duct Tape. Skid plate fell off? Sheet metal, with zip ties.

AutoNation Ford White Bear Lake is a good source for OEM parts. I also order directly from Steeda if the have a good promo code (20-30% off) on their facebook page.
